Clean Sweep to raise money for charities at annual football match

We are happy to announce the details of our annual charity football match in aid of Ty Olwen and Papworth Hospital Trust.

The family day out will take place on August 12th at Pontlliw Park and will see ex Swansea City football stars like Lee Trundle, Leon Britton, Kris O’Leary and many others play against the Pontlliw team.

There will be refreshments and food available, as well as raffle and grand auction to be held at The Buck pub when the game ends.

Both Ty Olwen and Papworth Hospital Trust are very worthy charities and do so much to help the people in its care. The charities have a very special place in the hearts of Clean Sweep’s founder, Helen Williams and the people of Pontlliw as Ty Olwen provided palliative care for Helen’s mother and Papworth Hospital cared for Pontlliw committee member, Russell Truelove, after undergoing a full heart transplant after collapsing while playing football.

Please come along to Pontlliw Park on the 12th August and show your support, while having a fun family day out!

See you there!
