Swansea-based cleaning company Clean Sweep, has helped to make a newly refurbished high school gleam after completing a substantial cleaning contract, which saw them work on the new development from top to bottom.
The work was carried out on the updated Afon Taf High School in Merthyr Tydfil.
Afon Taf’s refurbishment, which was split into two phases, included new facilities for Art, Design and Technology, IT, Science and Welsh. Clean Sweep were contracted to carry out a deep clean after phase two was complete.
Afon Taf is part of the 21st Century Schools Programme that plans to implement long-term improvements to educational facilities through a £12 million funding scheme with the Welsh Government and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council.
21st Century Schools is aiming to create better learning environments in Wales through a more sustainable education system and a greater economy for learning environments.
