Cleaning company reaps rewards of investment
Clean Sweep, a Swansea-based cleaning company has secured a substantial contract with a major service inspection company that provides a range of services to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
The deal also secures two new jobs at the company and justifies a substantial investment it has made in specialist industrial cleaning equipment.
Clean Sweep, based in Pontarddulais, Swansea, will now provide specialist cleaning equipment and staff to the company on a daily basis. It recently moved to larger premises on Swansea Enterprise Park from its old location in Cwmdu.
The contract represents an important one for Clean Sweep. It is the first major contract for its newly-formed industrial cleaning arm, justifying the investment the cleaning company has made in buying specialist equipment for that side of the business.
Helen Williams, director and founder of Clean Sweep, said:
“We are delighted to have won what is a substantial contract for us working with the company at their much bigger premises. We had been working with them at the old premises in relation to the company’s relocation.”
Ian Williams, head of operations for Clean Sweep, said:
“This job is great news for us as it allows us to continue our rapid expansion while also creating new jobs. They were really impressed with the quality of our work and we have been able to agree a new contract that really cements the arrangement between us.”
Mark Jones, director of the company, said:
“After already having Clean Sweep work for us at the Cwmdu site, it was easy to ask them to continue the good work at our new site in Swansea Enterprise Park. Helen’s team are dedicated and hard-working, and have done an excellent job of the deep clean before we moved in, and subsequent daily cleaning since.”
